With the two-fold aim of personal and community building, the Salesian Pastoral Youth Service (SPYS) aims to promote Christian life values towards the holistic formation of young people in the spirit of St John Bosco. In its 10 years of service to the youth in Malta, the organization has recognized the importance of its international sphere as part of this formation. It is an area which sees youth meeting youth while cultures meet cultures towards a better understanding of one another.

"When a dream is dreamt by one person alone it remains a dream. But when two or more people share that dream then it becomes reality" - these were the words, spoken by a friend, who quoting Martin Luther King on Colle Don Bosco unintentionally ignited this project. So to this, "Danke P. Siegi!"

SPYS.int is many projects within a project, by and for young people in Malta, Europe and elsewhere. It is a project which initiated from the idea of an ex-EVS volunteer's Future Capital Project... a dream which he shared with others within SPYS eventually forming "SPYS.int".

With "int" being the word for "you" in Maltese, SPYS.int is meant to be an INTernational service for all of YOUth.
