Training Social Entrepreneurship: Creating and Implementing Future Projects

Training social entrepreneurship kicked off on the 28th October and ended on the 4th of November with around 29 participants coming from 9 partner countries (Belgium, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Germany and Austria). The European Commission and the Youth in Action programme has special funds which NGOs can apply for and receive grants for particular projects, but to apply for such grants there is a detailed application which needs to be filled in. Apart from creativity workshops and project management, this training course gave special attention and tips on how to fill such applications.

During the week we also had time to learn about other partner organizations and how they are active in their local community. We also had time to visit Munich and taste local foods and also enjoy some leisure time in indoor swimming pool at the Salesian house. The training course was a big motivator to all of us and to inspire us participants in creating and implementing future projects.

Maltese Participants : Johan Bugeja, Daniel Cilia and Luca Cacciattolo and we also had a Maltese trainer : Dawn Cassar
