Every evening, before any party or any event, each country had to prepare a good night, a short moment with some reflections and thoughts about our lives. These were the only moments where silence had to reign within the group. The week was great but as it went along, and people started getting to know each other better, it became even more amazing and during the last three days, everyone was joking, dancing, singing and playing together. Time flies, and the moment to say goodbye arrived. On Saturday evening, we had a big party where we had the chance to say goodbye to everyone, and hope to see each other again sometime. After few hours after we left on a flight back to Malta, I already started to miss everyone, especially some of them who really made it very special to me. However, as a Spaniard told me, “It's an illness which takes some time to heal.” Keeping that in my mind together with all the memories of this past week, I look forward to another DBYN Youth Exchange such as this one as it has truly helped me to grow as a person and learn so much about other countries around Europe.
