YES Lenten Talks_2012_3
For the second time round, a group from SPYS (Youths Engage in Senglea team) has organised Lenten talks for youths in Isla. The theme chosen for this year was the way I relate to myself, to others and to God. Through the use of games, multimedia resources, and short Bible stories, current issues faced by youths nowadays were brought up and discussed with the participants. Such sessions helped the youth to stop and think on relevant situations in life which they may be going through.

SPYS Goes Volley !

Spys volleyball team 2012
When I came to know that there was going to be a volleyball tournament held at the Salesian Oratory in Sliema, I immediately thought that we should enter as there where some experienced players and others which where interested in being part of the team. There were five teams in the tournament and one had to be eliminated from the group stage. For most of our team members it was the first volleyball game in a long time so the more experienced players would help us before the game by teaching us how to improve our game and give out useful tips.
